SUV Crashes Into Creek

Car Crash Kansas Today in Kansas: A 79-year-old Colorado man was killed when his Toyota RAV4 SUV crashed into a creek and became submerged in North Central Kansas. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Blake Turner from Aurora, Colorado, was driving west on Interstate 70 when the SUV left the roadway to the left, traveled through the center median, went down an embankment, rolled, and came to rest submerged in a creek. Turner died at the scene. The crash occurred Wednesday evening just before 5:00 in Wabaunsee County on I-70 near mile marker 337, about a half mile west of Vera Road.
