Shooting Kansas City Alabama in Kansas City, Alabama: Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, 22, allegedly shot at a car in Wyandotte County, Kansas, on June 11, and on June 16 allegedly shot at five cars along Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Missouri, killing one person and wounding four. On the night of June 16, Sanchez-Munoz barricaded himself inside a house in Independence, Missouri, and engaged in a standoff with police. The house caught fire during the standoff, and after firefighters extinguished the blaze, Sanchez-Munoz was not found inside. Relatives later discovered a body in the basement consistent with Sanchez-Munoz's clothing description, and police preliminarily believe it is him pending medical examiner confirmation.
