Pedestrian Hit Lady Lake Florida in Lady Lake, Florida: A male pedestrian was struck while standing motionless in the middle lane of southbound U.S. Hwy. 27/441 near Hartsock Sawmill Road in Lady Lake during the early morning hours of June 16. The female driver of a Tacoma stopped and her passenger checked on the man while 911 was called. A second southbound vehicle, believed to be a white or silver mid-sized car, then struck the injured man and fled without stopping. The victim was transported to UF Health Leesburg Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
