Aircraft Georgia Today in Georgia: A man from Lyons was killed in a plane crash Wednesday evening in Tattnall County, Georgia. Tattnall County 911 received a report of an airplane crash at about 5:59 p.m. on Highway 144 west of Glennville in the Tison Community, with a witness confirming the plane crashed by a pond on Watermelon Creek Church Road. The victim was identified as Tony Zorn of Lyons, and the Tattnall County Coroner confirmed one fatality with only one person on the plane. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash, with Tattnall County Fire Rescue, EMS, EMA, Sheriff's Office, and Glennville Fire Department responding to the scene.
