Pedestrian hit, killed by train in Old Orchard Beach

Pedestrian Hit Old Orchard Beach Maine in Old Orchard Beach, Maine: A 51-year-old Old Orchard Beach man was hit and killed by a northbound Amtrak train near Temple Avenue on Thursday afternoon around 2:18 p.m. Police say the pedestrian was walking near the tracks when he was struck and died at the scene. The victim was traveling alone, and his name was being withheld pending notification of family.
