Car Crash Salem Township Ohio in Salem Township, Ohio: An 87-year-old Blanchester man died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 22/state Route 3 and Middleboro Road in Salem Township, Ohio. A 2004 Toyota Camry driven by Georgia Peck, 86, of Blanchester, was traveling northbound on Middleboro Road when she reportedly failed to yield to a westbound 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Jason Sweeney, 46, of Blanchester. The Dodge struck the Camry in the intersection, causing the pickup truck to travel off the right side of the road. Passenger Jerrold Rajewski was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where he died from his injuries; Peck was transported to TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital with serious injuries, and Sweeney was taken to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
