Pedestrian Hit Shirley Massachusetts in Shirley, Massachusetts: Theresa Nicke, 64, of Shirley, was struck by a 2013 Buick Regal while walking hand-in-hand with her husband on Dawn Drive in Shirley on Saturday. She was seriously injured and airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday. The 23-year-old driver remained at the scene and was not injured.
