Shooting New Haven Connecticut in New Haven, Connecticut: Two young men were fatally shot on Monday afternoon at the Fort Hale Garden Condominiums complex on Woodward Avenue in New Haven. Police were called to the scene at 1:24 p.m., but three shooting victims had already left before officers arrived. Both 18-year-old Malakai Caraballo of New Haven and 20-year-old Jayden Martinez of Ansonia were brought to area hospitals, where they were pronounced dead, while a third man was wounded. A preliminary investigation indicated that separate groups of men who knew each other were involved in the gunfire.
