Nederland woman arrested in stabbing

Assault Nederland Alabama in Nederland, Alabama: On June 20 at 11:34 p.m., Nederland Police Department responded to a stabbing at a residence in the 700 block of Ninth Street in Nederland, Texas. Officers found a white male lying on the ground with a stab wound to the chest, receiving first aid from a friend. The suspect, Lekotah Philley, 29, of Nederland, was located inside the residence and arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence; she appeared intoxicated. The victim was treated on scene and transported by Air Rescue to a hospital.
