Motorcycle Crash Jackson Corners New York in Jackson Corners, New York: A 30-year-old Red Hook man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding slid into the path of a 2025 Kia head-on in the Town of Gallatin. Nicholas Hedges was operating a 2014 Ducati motorcycle near Jackson Corners Road and Hoefer Road when he lost control, slid from the eastbound to westbound lane, and struck the car driven by Michael Mojica, 43, of Elizaville. Hedges was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mojica and a passenger were treated at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson for non-life-threatening injuries. The crash occurred on Sunday, June 21, according to State Police in Livingston.
