Motorcyclist hospitalized after crashing near Bremerton
Car Crash Washington Today in Washington: A 21-year-old Bremerton man on a motorcycle was taken to the hospital after reportedly causing a crash into another vehicle on Highway 3 near the Chico Way exit on the morning of June 24, 2026. The motorcyclist was traveling north behind a 2017 Ford Explorer in the same lane when the 50-year-old Ford driver slowed for traffic and was struck from behind by the motorcycle rider, according to Washington State Patrol. Both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder; the Ford driver was uninjured but his SUV sustained damage. WSP determined the cause as the motorcyclist following too close, and the Bremerton man faces a potential charge of following too close.
