Motorcyclist dies after Route 9 crash in Albany

Motorcycle Crash New York Today in New York: Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Albany on Wednesday night. The incident took place on Route 9 near the Northern Boulevard overpass. Detectives determined that 53-year-old David Gonzalez of Latham allegedly lost control of his motorcycle while heading north on Route 9, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle and strike a guardrail. Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene, according to APD.
