Motorcyclist dies after Route 9 crash in Albany

Motorcycle Crash New York Today in New York: Albany Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Route 9 near the Northern Boulevard overpass around 6:40 p.m. on June 24. Detectives determined that 53-year-old David Gonzalez of Latham lost control of his motorcycle while heading north on Route 9, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle and strike a guardrail. Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene, according to APD.
