Shooting Blackfoot Idaho in Blackfoot, Idaho: On June 24 around 4:52 p.m., Blackfoot Police officers responded to a call regarding allegations of stalking and a violation of a protection order involving an adult male. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot on Parkway Drive in Blackfoot, and as they approached, the subject was found to have sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The subject was transported by ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
