Man electrocuted on top of train at Southport station
Bus Crash Southport Connecticut in Southport, Connecticut: A man was electrocuted on top of a southbound Metro-North train at Southport station in Connecticut on Thursday afternoon after acting erratically on board, according to witnesses and authorities. Passengers said the man was acting unusual before he climbed on top of the train; the conductor was called and the man was cordoned off between two train cars before he climbed up and contacted a high-voltage unit. Metro-North, MTA, and Fairfield police responded to the scene and the station was closed for hours before reopening.
