A Volkswagen Golf traveling westbound behind a Ram 1500 pickup attempted to pass the pickup and struck a Subaru, which careened off the road and flipped onto its roof, killing the 70-year-old driver. The Volkswagen's driver, a 34-year-old Malvern man, was ejected due to not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries before being taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton.
