Man charged with OUI after police chase

Motorcycle Crash Taunton Massachusetts in Taunton, Massachusetts: A 38-year-old Taunton man, identified as Samuel Rodriguez, led police on a chase Wednesday night after troopers tried to pull over a vehicle involved in a road rage incident on I-195 at Reed Road. Troopers set up stop sticks to stop the car, and the driver nearly struck a cruiser during the pursuit. The car was eventually stopped on Route 44 near Range Avenue, where firefighters doused the smoking vehicle with water. Rodriguez was charged with failure to stop for police, operating under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and other civil violations.
