Motorcycle Crash New York Today in New York: David Gonzalez, a 53-year-old former prosecutor in Albany and Schenectady counties, was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash on Wednesday evening around 6:40 p.m. Albany police said it appeared Gonzalez was traveling north on Route 9 when he lost control of his motorcycle, was thrown off, and struck a nearby guardrail just north of the Northern Boulevard overpass. Responding officers found him with serious traumatic injuries before he was pronounced dead at the scene.
