Laredo man arrested after chase and crash

Police Pursuit Crash Laredo Texas in Laredo, Texas: A Laredo police traffic stop around 10:37 p.m. on a Wednesday night in the 1500 block of U.S. 83 turned into a pursuit that was called off. The SUV later crashed at Zacatecas Street and South Louisiana Avenue, and the driver fled on foot. Officers found the SUV parked at Three Points Park on Cortez Street and detained 32-year-old Jose Pablo Solis, who was arrested on charges of evading arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance (PG1 and PG3), felon in possession of a firearm, and accident involving damage. A gun and suspected drugs were recovered.
