Police Pursuit Crash Macon Missouri in Macon, Missouri: A La Plata Police Department patrol vehicle crashed on Wednesday night, June 24, while pursuing another vehicle on a gravel road in Macon County, Missouri. The 2026 Dodge Durango patrol vehicle lost control, ran off the right side of the roadway, and struck a fence and several trees at approximately 8:57 p.m. on Jasper Avenue at Jockey Street, about five miles south of La Plata. The 29-year-old driver from La Plata sustained minor injuries and was transported by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Hospital. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
