Police were dispatched to the intersection of Brooklyn Boulevard and 65th Avenue North at 10:40 p.m. and found the victim bleeding profusely. The victim suffered a blood clot in his brain and underwent a craniotomy, and is likely to suffer permanent paralysis on at least half of his body. Turner was arrested at a gas station on June 20 with a knife in his possession and admitted to stabbing the victim.
