Motorcycle Crash Columbus Alabama in Columbus, Alabama: Hunter Hopkins, 25, of Columbus, was killed in a motorcycle crash on the city's West Side on June 25, 2026. According to a Columbus police crash report, Hopkins was driving a 2009 Honda CBR600RR motorcycle westbound on Sullivant Avenue at approximately 100 mph when he struck a 2010 Buick Enclave driven by Betty Perry, 86, of Orient, who was traveling east on Sullivant Avenue and preparing to make a left turn onto Wilson Road. Hopkins was ejected from his motorcycle and died from his injuries.
