Motorcycle Crash New York Today in New York: A 65-year-old Gouverneur man was hospitalized with serious, life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle accident on June 23. New York State Police responded to State Highway 58 in the town of Gouverneur for a collision involving a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling eastbound. The motorcycle operator failed to observe another vehicle that had stopped in the roadway with its turn signal activated while waiting to make a left turn onto Old Route 58, and struck the rear of that vehicle, causing the operator to be ejected. The motorcyclist was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Medical Center and remains hospitalized in stable condition; the other driver was not injured.
