Former Powell teacher saves woman and infant
Car Crash Cody Wyoming in Cody, Wyoming: A woman and her infant son were trapped in a 1997 gray Lincoln passenger vehicle that had gone off the road south of Cody, Wyoming, a few days before Christmas 2025. Wyoming Department of Transportation maintenance employee Ty Myers, who was plowing snow in the early morning hours, noticed tire tracks in the snow and climbed approximately 30 feet down a snow-packed icy embankment to reach the vehicle. The woman was in pain from injuries suffered during the accident and cold, and was worried about her child. Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper Brett Tillery confirmed Myers rescued the crash victims and was later recognized for his actions.
