Motorcycle Crash Albuquerque New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico: A former Albuquerque police officer, Ezekiel Florez, was sentenced to three years in prison for hitting and killing Daniel Trujillo while riding a motorcycle off-duty at a high rate of speed on Central Avenue near Coors Boulevard in May 2025. Florez and his passenger, Krystal Garcia, struck Trujillo as he was crossing the street. Neither Florez nor Garcia stopped to provide aid or call 911 after the crash.
