Firefighter injured, dog rescued in Beckley house fire

Vehicle Fire Beckley West Virginia in Beckley, West Virginia: A house fire occurred early Thursday morning on Maxwell Hill Road in Beckley, West Virginia. Firefighters were dispatched at 4:44 a.m. to a structure fire in the 1000 block of Maxwell Hill Road, extinguished the fire, searched the residence, and rescued one dog from inside the home. One firefighter sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
