Fiery semi-truck crash leaves 2 dead in Panola County

Semi Truck Crash Early Mississippi in early, Mississippi: Both a driver and a passenger were killed in an early morning crash involving a single 18-wheeler in Panola County, Texas. The wreck happened around 4:20 a.m. on Highway 79 at FM 31 in the DeBerry area. The Department of Public Safety said the 18-wheeler was traveling south on US Highway 79 when the driver drove into the northbound lane and the vehicle collided with a tree. The semi-truck caught fire, and both the driver and passenger died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
