Ferndale man killed in motorcycle crash on Slater Road

Motorcycle Crash Motorcycle-Versus-Vehicle Washington in motorcycle-versus-vehicle, Washington: A 41-year-old Ferndale man was killed in a motorcycle-versus-vehicle crash in Whatcom County on Tuesday, June 23, around 6 p.m. Zachary Bass was heading west on Slater Road at a high speed when he collided with a truck heading eastbound at the intersection of Slater and Elder roads. Bass was pronounced dead at the scene. No citations or charges were issued.
