Fatal crash in Madera County claims 25-year-old's life
Car Crash Madera California in Madera, California: A 25-year-old Madera man was killed and a 40-year-old Chowchilla man was injured in a crash around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Madera man was driving a 2000 Toyota Tacoma north on Road 19 while the Chowchilla man was driving a 2022 Hyundai Tucson west on Avenue 18 1/2. The Toyota driver failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection, where the Hyundai struck the passenger side of the pickup. The Toyota driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected, dying at the scene despite lifesaving efforts; the Hyundai driver was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
