Family questions suicide ruling in death of Detroit mother

Her death was ruled a suicide by the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office, but her family disputes the ruling, pointing to a brutal beating by her ex-boyfriend hours before she was found dead. Detroit police say a suicide note was found in her SUV, though a Waterford Township Police Department report states the note does not match Brittany's handwriting. Her ex-boyfriend has been charged in connection with the prior assault.
