Shooting San Antonio Texas in San Antonio, Texas: A 14-year-old boy, Michael 'Mikey' Alvarez, was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Scott at Medio Creek apartments on the Southwest Side of San Antonio after going to meet someone. Three males, ages 29, 19, and 16, were waiting for him, and the meeting turned into a robbery during which Alvarez and an unidentified 16-year-old were both shot and killed. Alvarez was struck in the head and neck and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police detained two suspects for questioning; charges were unclear at the time of the article.
