Car Crash Gardiner Maine in Gardiner, Maine: A 57-year-old Maine Department of Transportation worker was seriously injured on Wednesday around 1:43 p.m. after he was struck by a 2021 Cadillac SUV operated by a 39-year-old Gardiner woman on I-295 northbound in Gardiner. The worker had exited a DOT truck, which had its warning lights on, to remove tire debris near the right-hand fog line in the breakdown lane. He was transported to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
