Vehicle Fire Gettysburg Colorado in Gettysburg, Colorado: A duplex fire in the 100 block of Hanover Road in Gettysburg Borough on Thursday morning killed one dog and displaced four residents. The Gettysburg fire chief said crews were called to the blaze at 7:43 a.m., and the fire started in the basement and spread to the first floor, damaging both sides of the duplex. Residents inside were alerted by smoke detectors and evacuated safely. A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal ruled the fire an accident and believes it was caused by an electrical issue.
