Bus Crash Alabama Today in Alabama: Fifteen people were hospitalized after a DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) bus struck a large hole on Harry Hines Boulevard just before 6 a.m. on Thursday. Dallas Fire-Rescue reported that the hole was exposed when a metal plate covering active road construction shifted, causing the bus to end up in the hole. Six others, including the driver, were injured but declined transport; the severity of the hospitalized passengers' injuries was not released. Officials had not yet determined what caused the metal plate to move.
