Hit And Run Plainfield Connecticut in Plainfield, Connecticut: A 33-year-old Sterling woman, Amber Blanchette, was speeding in a Volvo SUV on Harris Road in Plainfield when she lost control, left the roadway, went down an embankment and crashed into a residence late Tuesday evening. Police said Blanchette had been involved in a domestic incident earlier that night on Snake Meadow Road before leaving the area with four young children in her vehicle. After the crash, she returned to her residence where her damaged SUV was located. Blanchette was charged with four counts of risk of injury to a child, first-degree reckless endangerment, evading responsibility, reckless driving, failure to maintain proper lane and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration; Charles Corson, 26, was charged with four counts of violation of a protective order and four counts of risk of injury to a minor.
