Shooting Blackfoot Idaho in Blackfoot, Idaho: On Wednesday around 4:52 p.m., Blackfoot Police officers responded to a call regarding stalking allegations and a violation of a protection order. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot in Blackfoot. As officers approached the vehicle, the subject was found to have sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers rendered first aid and the man was transported via ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
