Columbia River plane crash kills 2
Aircraft Pasco Washington in Pasco, Washington: Two people died after a plane crashed into the Columbia River near Pasco, Washington on Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. The plane collided with a transmission line, causing power outages for thousands of homes and businesses, and sparked a fire in an open field next to Riverview Park. The plane landed upside down in the river and drifted downstream; a crane pulled the aircraft from the water and two bodies were recovered. The NTSB and Franklin County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crash.
