Motorcycle Crash Carelessly Recklessly Colorado in carelessly recklessly, Colorado: Douglas County commissioners approved a new emergency ordinance regulating off-highway vehicles (OHVs) and low-powered scooters. The ordinance imposes fines of up to $1,000 for illegally operating an OHV, driving one carelessly or recklessly, or not wearing a helmet if under 18, and allows law enforcement to impound OHVs operated illegally. Parents who knowingly allow their child to break the rules can also be fined. The ordinance does not include e-bikes or low-speed e-scooters with a maximum speed of 20 mph or less.
