Car Crash California Today in California: A driver was killed after his 2024 Subaru Impreza veered off northbound Interstate 5 into the dirt center median, struck a raised concrete barrier, became airborne, crashed into another wall, and caught fire early Thursday morning around 5:05 a.m. The California Highway Patrol responded to the solo-vehicle crash north of Highway 43. The driver died at the scene. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
