Car Crash California Today in California: A driver was killed after his 2024 Subaru Impreza veered off Interstate 5 northbound, struck a raised concrete barrier in the dirt center median, became airborne, crashed into another wall, and caught fire early Thursday morning. The California Highway Patrol was called to the solo-vehicle crash at around 5:05 a.m. on June 25, 2026, on I-5 north of Highway 43. The driver died at the scene. CHP said it is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.
