Cary man crashes stolen SUV before stealing witness' truck…

Hit And Run Raleigh North Carolina in Raleigh, North Carolina: A Cary man driving a stolen black SUV ran a red light at Ten-Ten Road and Old Stage Road during the Thursday morning commute, crashed into a silver Lexus sedan, then crashed into a treeline. When a witness stopped to help, the driver jumped into the witness's pickup truck and fled, later crashing the truck on Morgan Street near downtown Raleigh about 10 miles away and hitting at least two vehicles. The driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries and was believed to be impaired. Arrest warrants were obtained for driving while impaired, felony hit-and-run, reckless driving, failure to wear a seat belt, and failure to stop for a red light.
