Car Crash Carteret New Jersey in Carteret, New Jersey: Two tractor-trailers collided on the northbound inner roadway of the New Jersey Turnpike in Carteret just before 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, causing one of the trucks to become fully engulfed in flames. At least one of the trucks was reportedly carrying lumber. The northbound inner roadway was completely closed as firefighters extinguished the blaze and New Jersey State Police began a crash investigation. The extent of injuries and possible fatalities had not been confirmed as of 6:00 a.m.
