Drowning Featherville Idaho in Featherville, Idaho: Everett Newby, 12, of Boise, died at St. Luke's Medical Center in Boise at 6:45 p.m. Saturday after being submerged in water at Trinity Hot Springs in Featherville, Idaho. Lifesaving measures were unsuccessful after the submersion, and the Ada County Coroner's Office listed his cause and manner of death as pending. Trinity Hot Springs is a commercial hot springs attached to a hotel and campground in Elmore County, less than two hours east of Boise. A family friend created a GoFundMe to help cover medical and funeral costs for Newby's parents.
