Shooting Kansas City Alabama in Kansas City, Alabama: Kansas City police believe they found the body of 22-year-old Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, suspected of killing one person in a series of highway shootings earlier in June 2026, in the flooded basement of a family member's home. Sanchez-Munoz had an outstanding warrant after being accused of shooting at a motor vehicle on June 11 in Wyandotte County, Kansas, and was suspected of involvement in a string of shootings in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 16. He allegedly killed Jeremy Keenan during the Kansas City incident and allegedly crashed his car into a pole after being shot. Homicide detectives and the Jackson County Medical Examiner are investigating to confirm the identity and cause of death.
