Black Woman Dollar General Manager Shot, Killed By Customer
Shooting Columbus Georgia in Columbus, Georgia: Alexis Hill, 44, a Dollar General general manager in Columbus, Georgia, was shot and killed by a customer, identified as 33-year-old Jerome Willis, around 10:45 a.m. after he paid for $1.58 hamburger buns with two crumpled $1 bills. Willis fled the scene and was later shot and killed by police in the parking lot of Muscogee Elementary School at 1:16 p.m. the same day, in an officer-involved shooting that also injured a K9 named Havoc. The K9's handler was not injured. No motive has been released.
