BCA Identifies Man Killed in St. Peter Incident
Shooting St Peter Minnesota in St Peter, Minnesota: On June 18, 2026, Mankato police officers pursued a vehicle that fled into St. Peter, Minnesota. The driver, later identified as Donahue, stopped and ran into the home of an acquaintance, where officers found an adult woman and a juvenile girl and escorted them to safety. Nicollet County Sheriff's Sgt. Peter and St. Peter Police Officer Austin Buss were searching the home when they encountered Donahue, who fired a shotgun down a stairwell from the second floor. Officers returned fire, and Donahue was later found deceased on the upper floor from a gunshot wound; one officer was wounded.
