Officers found a victim who suffered critical injuries after being stabbed, and the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. The suspect had left the scene before police arrived. Following an investigation, police identified 37-year-old Abel Perez of Bangor as the suspect and later found him driving the victim's stolen vehicle in New York, where he was arrested and charged with attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault, domestic violence assault, and theft by unauthorized taking.
