Motorcycle Crash Upstate New York New York in Upstate New York, New York: A 30-year-old Army veteran from Red Hook, New York, was killed in a two-vehicle collision in the Town of Gallatin, Columbia County, on Sunday around 8:30 p.m. According to New York State Police, Nicholas H. Hedges lost control of his 2014 Ducati motorcycle while traveling east on Jackson Corners Road and struck a 2025 Kia head-on. The 45-year-old driver of the Kia from Elizaville, New York, and a front-seat passenger were transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Hedges was pronounced deceased at the scene.
