Motorcycle Crash New York Today in New York: A 53-year-old Latham man died after crashing a motorcycle into a guardrail in Albany. Albany police responded around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, to a reported one-vehicle motorcycle crash on Route 9 north of Northern Boulevard. Officers found David Gonzalez unresponsive with serious injuries; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said it appears Gonzalez was riding north on Route 9 when he lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown into a guardrail.
