Car Crash Arkansas Today in Arkansas: One person was killed and two others were injured Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on state Route 43 in Carroll County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. A 2016 Volkswagen Golf traveling westbound attempted to pass a 2019 Ram 1500 and collided head-on with an eastbound 2012 Subaru Outback; the Ram was then struck by both vehicles. The driver of the Subaru, 70-year-old Lee D. Meadows of Waynesburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Volkswagen sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital, while the driver of the Ram suffered minor injuries. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
